After Licensing Examination

Examination Results

A notification email will be sent to candidates regarding the date of release of examination results. The examination results can be obtained in person (or by an authorised representative) at the Licentiate Committee Secretariat (4/F, Hong Kong Academy of Medicine Jockey Club Building, 99 Wong Chuk Hang Road, Aberdeen, Hong Kong). The results not collected personally will subsequently be sent to candidates by mail. In addition, the candidate numbers of persons who have passed the examination will be uploaded to the following information portal:

Re-sit
Please refer to the 'Flow Chart of Licensing Examination' and 'Application' for re-sit arrangement and application procedures.

Appeal
Any appeal against the decisions of the Licentiate Committee or its sub-committees should be made within 14 days of being notified of the decision, in accordance with the appeal procedures set out in Appendix III of the Guidance Notes to Applicants.

  • An applicant who has applied for a review or has appealed cannot take or apply to take the next Licensing Examination until after the review or appeal is concluded.
• If an applicant applies for a review or makes an appeal after he submitting an application for taking the next Licensing Examination, the latter application will be withheld from processing until after the review or appeal is concluded.
